Design and method of operation of a cylindrical grinder. Cylindrical grinders are divided into two types: internal cylindrical grinding machines and external cylindrical grinders. The two types can also be combined to form a universal cylindrical grinding machine or CNC universal cylindrical grinding machine.
In this method, a grinding wheel is formed in double conical shape analogous to a cylindrical grinder with an angular slide. The regulating wheel, the axis of which is swiveled parallel to one of the conical surfaces, is plunged in the normal direction to the axis of the grinding wheel, and the cylindrical surface is ground.
Grinding machine. A grinding machine, often shortened to grinder, is any of various power tools or machine tools used for grinding, which is a type of machining using an abrasive wheel as the cutting tool. Each grain of abrasive on the wheel's surface cuts a small chip from the workpiece via shear deformation.
